Q1: What are some of the reasons video games were successful? What makes a game popular?

The video games makes you go to another world, when you play it you don't think about what is happening outside the game and you don't think about your problems, this is good but it can be bad also because a lot of people get in trouble with addiction.
One of the reasons is that you can do a lot of things inside the game you can change the history you can create you characters as you want.
One other thing very important is the graphics, a lot of people what they want is to think that they are inside one world as I said so the graphics is too important depending on what type of game are you playing
Another thing very important now is that all games must have an online part, then you can plkay with your friends and it's not that bored.

Q2: What are some of the reasons why the video game industry crashed in the 1980s?

The crash occurred because off the saturation of the market, all the companies were doing poor games. They didn't put much effort doing this games so people started to see the games boring things and bad things. Also the competition with the computers is one of the reasons.

The price of a computer was the same that a gaming console but with the computer you could do other things not only play video games so people choose to buy computers instead of gaming consoles.

Q3: Do you think video games are a form of art? Why or why not?

Yes, I think that video games are a form of art because you have to create new things and draw and animate the paintings, it's a hard job with a lot of types of art, not only draw, you have to imagine and create what are the characters doing why are they doing this , create a story that have to make sense.

So yes I think that doing video games it's more than a form or art video games are life.

Q4: What is the next evolution in video games? What are the challenges that need to be solved in the next generation of games?

The next evolution in games is the virtual reality called (VR).

Now they have a type of virtual reality but it's not good at all, you can't play a long time because you get dizzy, the graphics are not good at all and you can't do a lot of things like in normal video games.

In general I think that this evolution is going to be good because you are going to be able to form  part of the game more inside, they are trying to do all more realistic.

One thing that I don't really like is that in some games you have to play in a very big room because you have to move yourself to arrive to another part and in small rooms this is not possible.
